Doctor Visits
Medical visits can be overwhelming. This page helps you prepare, communicate clearly, and leave with a plan that makes sense.
Before the visit
- Pick your top 1–2 concerns.
- Write down when it started, triggers, and what helps.
- Bring your medication + supplement list.
- If possible, bring a friend/family member for support.
During the visit
- Start with: “My top concern today is ____.”
- Ask for the plan in 3 parts: what we think, what we’re doing, when to follow up.
- If something is unclear: “Can you say that in plain language?”
After the visit
- Write down the plan the same day.
- Schedule follow-ups while motivation is fresh.
- If side effects appear after a new med, call sooner rather than waiting.

Pro tip
