How to choose a provider (quick, real-world tips)
- Start with fit, not perfection: look for someone who listens and explains clearly.
- Bring a short list: your top 1–2 concerns + your medication/supplement list.
- Ask about next steps: “What should I do first?” and “When should I follow up?”
- For PT/OT: ask if they work with older adults and balance/fall prevention.
When to seek urgent care
If you have severe symptoms (chest pain, trouble breathing, one-sided weakness, fainting, sudden confusion), don’t wait for a search result. Get urgent/emergency help right away.
